Directions

  1. Grind the cod fillet and onion together. Add the beaten egg white, chopped dill, salt, and seasonings.
  2. Work the mixture thoroughly and shape into round fish cakes.
  3. Bake at 465–480°F (240–250°C) or grill until fully cooked.
  4. Peel and dice the celeriac, cook in salted water until soft, drain, and blend with the butter and nutmeg until smooth.
  5. Serve the fish cakes and celeriac purée separately on a divided plate.
